Behind Patsy is me
For many years, I worked for a major fashion company. I learned a great deal, but there came a time when I needed a change, and I decided to start a new chapter. It was my husband, who knows me better than anyone, who encouraged me to become an entrepreneur—and the answer almost presented itself: shoes, which I had always been passionate about.
This is how Patsy Shoes was born.
THE ORIGIN
A Mary Jane and an Intuition
The beginnings were very different from what the brand is today. I didn't even have a website: sales came through Instagram, by phone, and via direct messages. Many times, I was the one preparing the orders, delivering them by hand or making endless trips to the post office loaded with boxes. Those were days of a lot of work, but also of great excitement.
I started with a small collection of handmade leather Mary Janes, inspired by a classic and timeless shoe but reinterpreted for the modern woman. I was lucky enough to have the support of my social media followers from the beginning, who trusted in the project when it was barely an idea.
Thanks to them, Patsy grew little by little, collection after collection, until the website, logistics, and a team arrived, which today allows me to dedicate myself to what I truly love: designing.
THE PATSY STYLE
Patsy is a Mary Jane
We didn't invent this shoe, but we were one of the first brands to embrace it when it had hardly any market presence. Over time, that intuition became a hallmark: a recognizable, feminine, comfortable, and distinctive style.
Today, many customers simply refer to it as the "Patsy style."
OWN DESIGN
Vanessa's Notebook
Every Patsy model starts in Vanesa's notebook: a sketch, an intuition, a shoe she would want to wear herself. From there it goes to the workshops, where it slowly takes shape by hand.
There is no trends department or endless collections. There is a vision—hers—and the desire to make a few shoes, but good ones. That's why a Patsy is recognizable from afar.
MADE IN SPAIN
Slowly
All our shoes are handcrafted in Elche (Alicante), one of the historic cradles of Spanish footwear. We work hand-in-hand with professionals who have dedicated generations to this craft and who share our philosophy: to pay attention to every detail and prioritize quality over mass production.
Behind every model, there's work that often goes unseen. We carefully select the leathers, design our own lasts, conduct tests, and develop prototypes until we achieve exactly the result we're looking for. We believe good shoes need time.

They don't need flamboyant styles to feel elegant and prefer a shoe that can accompany them to the office, a wedding, a trip, or a Saturday coffee with the same ease. What's Next
Patsy grows, but doesn't want to rush. Each season brings new models, colors, and lasts, always with the same starting idea: to make shoes worth having. Few. Beautiful. Well-made.
